Không khuất phục

 Màn đêm buông tối thẳm,

Địa ngục không lối ra,

Cám ơn trời cho ta:

một tâm hồn bất phục.

 

Hoàn cảnh đầy tủi nhục,

Ta chẳng khóc, than van,

vận rủi hơn vinh quang,

đầu máu me, không cúi.

 

Lệ phẫn nộ chưa nguôi,

trong viễn ảnh kinh hoàng,

nỗi khốn cùng năm tháng,

Ta chưa hề sợ hãi.

 

Dù đường hẹp chông gai,

dẫu hình phạt muôn lần,

Ta là chủ số phận:

Là chỉ huy tâm hồn.

Meurtri par cette existence,

En ce lieu de colère et de pleurs,

Se profile l’ombre de la mort,

Je ne sais ce que me réserve le sort,

Mais je suis et je resterai sans peur,

 

Aussi étroit soit le chemin,

Nombreux les châtiments infâmes,
